Psychological Supervision for Educational Psychologists
Psychological or professional supervision is offered for qualified educational psychologists at any stage of their career. Supervision provides a protected space to reflect on casework, ethical issues, role complexity and decision making.
The sessions will follow a solution focused and values-based approach, whilst maintaining strict boundaries around confidentiality and safeguarding.
Supervision Training and Experience
- Previous supervisory experience for trainee, assistant, maingrade and senior educational psychologists.
- Research and academic supervision for trainee educational psychologists.
- Professional supervision for SENCOs, teachers, designated safeguarding leads, learning mentors, ELSAs and social workers.
- Supervision training through the University of Birmingham.
- Current training towards the BPS Approved Certificate in Clinical Supervision.
Format and Structure
Supervision is offered online, with face to face sessions available in the Bristol area. Sessions can be arranged on a regular or ad hoc basis to support ongoing reflective practice or to focus on specific professional challenges.
